Every time I have a pilsner craving, I am always disappointed and head back to stouts. This beer on the other hand made me glad I got a pilsner.
NW Peaks Snowfield Winter Ale (unknown release)
Has a ginger taste at the start which transitions into a classic winter ale taste. I like it!
This is one of the better scotch ales I've had. The only scotch ale that trumps this for me is the Bourbon barreled scotch ale they serve at Black Raven's.
I am usually a fan of IPAs...however, something about this beer just did not agree with my tastebuds. It smells good, unfortunately, the smell does not live up to the taste.
Smells like blueberries - which I love.
Definitely tastes a little like blueberries - however, I realized I don't quite like blueberries in my beer.
This is an awesome beer - very mellow to start off, and you get the quintessential stout aftertaste at the end. Would definitely have this every time!
This is a good beer. It comes off slightly light which is why I am going with a 4.5 on this one.
