From the brewer

Like fresh powder, it’s a seize-the-moment thing. This year we've chased down Virgil Gamache Farms' famed Amarillo hops. At harvest, we rush the hops from the vine to our kettles to ensure we capture the purest, juiciest essence of the hop flower in every beer. Enjoy the bright, bold aroma and flavor that comes but once a year.

2015 release
Lemondrop hops give this a syrupy lemon Pledge flavor that is hard to ignore. There is an interestingly buttery finish that is the one thing that saves this. It's not love, but I liked this more than others seemed to.

Has an offensive smell but the hops flavors are nice and fresh.

While its labeled fresh hopped it retains more of the IPA flavor profile. Not a bad thing though!

Same spicy goodness I like in the hops, and more of a malt finish (very nice). A bit more bitterness too, though, so it balances out.
2013 release
Moderate cereal smell and a bit of tart, almost like apple juice. Good spicy-like lingering bitterness, and a sort of juicy sweetness to the malt body.
2013 release
I've decided I really like Amarillo hops. Nice tingly carbonation and fruity-piney-spicy hop flavor in a clear blonde IPA.
