Logs for this venue

Fizzy start. Butterscotch and maple syrup finish.
Bottle
Sharp distinction between the dried fruit and caramel opening and the distinctive, vegetal liquor twang of tequila at the end. Nowhere near as weird or smoky as the same brewery's Agave Maria, which is good. This tasted refined, if not wholly organic.
Bottle
Warm full and syrupy bourbon aroma. Sweet cola tang with some finishing tack. Buckwheat cereal comes through just after initial sweetness. Not too heavy and good character.
Bottle
Changes so much over the course of a glass. Complex, spicy and still delicious.
Bottle
Oddly enough, this tastess little sour. Like a mild sour mixed with a weisse. Though that may be a reflection of my oral cavity being colonized by the denizens of various sour ales tonight.
Draft
This is a good wild-type sour. It for start out a little overwhelming, but give it done time and it will open up.
Draft
Strawberry fields forever...
Draft
This was awesome. Made the whole trip worth it. It had the caramel, toffee like flavor that I love.
Draft
Toffee, caramel, bourbon, wood. Super smooth, and not one iota less satisfying than my memory would have it. Great to find in its off-season, and still kicking myself for not buying a bottle (or three).
Draft
Impossibly black, with a great, complex spirit smell that turns to smooth inkiness on the tongue. Like most FW beers, on draft it's much mellower than 13.7% would lead you to expect. Nice bit of fire midway through the taste -- the tequila? One to savor slowly.
Draft
Getting a malty maple pecan tang smell with alcohol burn. Smooth start, really nice middle, love the buckwheat presence. Some alcohol taste at end but pairs with the buckwheat. Pleasant aftertaste. Let it warm up a bit to increase the buckwheat taste but syrup finish will increase.
