A true English Barley wine. Big boozy bourbon and American oak aromas combine with soft chocolate malt undertones. Complex malt flavors framed in oak with hints of dark chocolate, vanilla, toasted coconut and a touch of dark cherry. A sipping beer best served in a Brandy snifter.

2015 release
Very nice. Tastes a little bit stronger than what I remembered. A little bit more bitter also. Otherwise it's a great barley wine with nice roasted caramel flavors.
2013 release
This was probably context, but this didn't blow me away as it has in the past. Making it merely great instead of mind-bendingly awesome.
2014 release
Typical barrel aged Firestone walker flavors, Oak, molasses, toffee, caramel, bourbon. I'm getting some extra nuts flavor near the end. Has a lighter texture than the parabola, but still feel boozier. Maybe a little bit too boozy.

This was awesome. Made the whole trip worth it. It had the caramel, toffee like flavor that I love.

Toffee, caramel, bourbon, wood. Super smooth, and not one iota less satisfying than my memory would have it. Great to find in its off-season, and still kicking myself for not buying a bottle (or three).

Sweet, toffee, bourbony flavor, similar to Parabola but less viscous and no woody burn.
