Heady cereal smell, roasted brown sugar malt taste without the sweetness.
Bottle
A little bit empty on the malt side with a clear hop presence both in terms of fruit and bitterness at the end.
A little more complicated than the black raven scotch ale. This has the faintest scent of lemon zest. The taste is the semi sweet of a whiskey mixed with citrus zest and something a little brackish.
Surprisingly crisp. The abv will sneak up on ya though watch out
Bottle at Home
This is a good beer. It comes off slightly light which is why I am going with a 4.5 on this one.
Tiny bit sweet.
