From the brewer

Well-balanced, full flavored traditional Scotch Ale or “Wee Heavy” brewed with 2 Row Barley, Black Barley, Chocolate and Crystal Malts. We keep it traditional by allowing the brew to boil for a longer period of time in the kettle creating a caramelization of the wort, producing a much more pronounced caramel and roasted malt flavor.

Who's been drinking this

Clear alcohol flavor, and a bit of caramel malt. Still not a beer I can really put my finger on.
Growler tasting at Odin Lounge
A bit light on flavor, but decent.
Acidic bite to this. This is not the Big E Scotch Ale I remember from years ago. Watery finish.
Unusual. Smells strongly of Scotch right out of the gate. Flavor has lots of wood smoke and moderate hop presence with a dry, less malty flavor. But nice bubbles and overall, pretty tasty.
