Chalky, a little too bitter. Saved it for last and I’m glad I did because it would have blown out my palate.

Lots of cereal and citrus. A bit of an odd IPA but not unpleasant even though I like more bitter varieties.
Bottle at Home
Pours very dark brown; porter-like. Very roasty but also with a round, prickly hop presence. I know I said "smooth" last time but that doesn't seem accurate anymore.
Bottle at Work
Like a sparkling grape cider, tart and fragrant. Muscat came to mind? Bubblegum finish, with maybe a touch of wheat?
Smooth, nutty brown with a creamy cereal malt finish. Very solid brown ale for sure! More interesting is finding another bottle shop with good taps nearby!
Deep malt smell, lingering malty mouthfeel and taste. Not sweet but viscous.
Bottle
The scent is interesting. Stout mixed with something of the sea. The taste is of a mild, slightly roasty, stout. Seems reasonable,
Bottle at A Friend's
A light stout with a refreshing amount of malt. The oyster presence is just a hint of salty seawater, not much on oyster brine or smoke. Probably my favorite oyster stout yet!
Bottle at Odin Lounge
Smells fairly hoppy but the flavor is mellow and malty, which was a nice surprise. A very drinkable red.
Bottle at Work
Has a weird unpleasant wet cereal smell. Very roasty, with cereal flavors and out of place hops flavors and bitterness.
Bottle
To tell the truth, I couldn't much taste any fruit in this at all. But my palate's been a little wonky all week. For all I could tell, this tasted like a decent, hoppy amber.
Growler at Raman's
Malty squishy (banana'y) coffee milk smell. Surprisingly sweet finish, fizzy cocoa brew with coffee hints.
Tasty pale with a very upfront hop flavor that is not usually present in a pale ale. Highly recommend.
Bottle
A highly floral, hoppy stout with a strong alcohol bite and coffee overtones. It's not bad, but it's just to my taste at all, and I've had enough stouts to know where I'd rather go.
Fermented *something* smell but not the beer variety, more like when fruit has turned. Similar sort of fermented tingle on tongue with a sort of malty bitterness.
Possibly the bottom of the stack rank in a very strong level band…
Sometime in Winter 2012-2013, a Secret Santa gift from Meghan.
