The base beer fit this is ok but this is a whole new ballgame! There is a certain booziness throughout from the brandy and a nice apple finish.

An unusually light-colored stout, much less an "epic stout," but with a good, light roasted flavor. Flavor is tempered by a pronounced yeasty character.

I wouldn't call this a stout. It tastes more like a Amber with strong malt flavors. Has quite a hops bite. Metallic flavors. Some roastiness.

Hops in front with a very nice malty finish.

Very tart/acid smell. Strong sourness that almost overpower its fruity flavors (apple, citrus). I was detecting a somewhat musty aftertaste. I'm really not a fan of sour beers.

This beer was simply amazing. Very fruity, The aging in brandy barrels adds a very pleasing, but not overwhelming, tart apple flavor. Powerful finish.
