Mmm mmm.

Out tastes very much like a pilsner, and a fairly clear one, but it is sweet and fruity rather than super bitter. Which my czech friends would consider a travesty. But as an American, I actually like the flavor.

Very pleasant.

It's lighter than I expected, but it still has that hint of barrel aging that just does me in.

Light and clear with a hint of some mild spice that I can't really identify. Coriander, perhaps?

Light and airy on nitro. Rating doesn't go up, but I'm glad to have tried it.

I thought I was becoming too fond of sludgy and inebriating barrel-aged stouts to really love any regular old stout the way I used to. This Scottish Stout, however, is quite nice. Crisp, comfy, coffee-favored, and doesn't hit you over the head.

Smells tart, tangy. Soft taste, mild malty taste with no prominent start, middle, or aftertaste beyond "malt". Doesn't want to be offensive.

Grassy, funky, hop fragrance, with a thin but pleasant flavor.

Smells a little funky but not unpleasant. Taste is thin.
