From the brewer

Pike Harlot’s Harvest reminds us that Pike Brewing was founded in the LaSalle Hotel, a former brothel run by Madam Nellie Curtis. Nellie’s girls were sometimes called harlots, though we imagine they were more affectionately known as ‘pumpkins’. This brew is big, bold and voluptuous, bursting with caramel and spices.

Who's been drinking this

Tangy and a somewhat reduced pumpkin spice flavor so not overwhelming or tacky.
Bottle
Somehow comes across as very sweet without being bothersome -- a clean, malt sweetness that recalls the Pumking, without quite reaching that beer's heights. At the same time, it's a chunk of change cheaper, and still very tasty -- definitely the kind of pumpkin beer I like to drink.
Caramel musty smell. Bitter funny finish, musty sweet sort of body.
Pumpking and solid roasted malts with a hint of spice on the finish. The pumpkin and spice complement a solid malty ale without overpowering.
