From the brewer

We pulled out all the stops on this big Imperial Stout. Five types of dark, roasted malt are added to this beer to give it a complex flavor of coffee, chocolate and brown sugar. That much maltiness requires plenty of hops for balance. Two large hop additions prevent the dark malt from totally dominating this monster of a beer.

Chalky, a little too bitter. Saved it for last and I’m glad I did because it would have blown out my palate.
Has a weird unpleasant wet cereal smell. Very roasty, with cereal flavors and out of place hops flavors and bitterness.
Bottle
A highly floral, hoppy stout with a strong alcohol bite and coffee overtones. It's not bad, but it's just to my taste at all, and I've had enough stouts to know where I'd rather go.
Fermented *something* smell but not the beer variety, more like when fruit has turned. Similar sort of fermented tingle on tongue with a sort of malty bitterness.
Possibly the bottom of the stack rank in a very strong level band…
