From the brewer

We brewed this beer inspired only by the challenge to do something we have never done. Brew a triple IPA? What the hell is a triple IPA anyway? Is it a young barley wine or a super imperial IPA? Well whatever it is, here you go! Enjoy with caution and make sure you are sitting down.

Who's been drinking this

2015 release
Very hop forward with a tasty grapefruit finish. Delightful.
Draft
2015 release
Opens with a very syrupy sweetness and texture with honey like flavors. Very round floral and citrusy hoppiness that hits you in the end. Slightly funky smell.
2014 release
Citrus on top of an alcoholic malt backbone. Pretty standard TIPA, nothing special

Bottle at Home
2014 release
Scents of hop juice and lemon pinesol. Flavor is actually anticlimactic. Mild IPA, nothing more. Some hoppy bitterness, and that's all she wrote.
Bottle at A Friend's
2014 release
Sudsy head smell. Sharp bitter body with a spongy sort of cereal presence. Gets better after multiple drinks but a slight funk remains on the finish.
2014 release
Pours lovely golden & crystal clear. Opens with the strong, concentrated flavor of hop juice, on the edge of being syrupy, but widens very thankfully into a pleasant and noticeable cereal body. The finish is fairly smooth, leaving a fruity tingle on the tongue. It's not as balanced as Wisdom Seeker, but very, very nice.
