An appealing Belgian brown with nice spice, sweet vegetal yam flavor that almost masquerades as banana, and peppery sugar that dances on the tongue. The maple is just a hint of syrup the smell and a smokiness in the taste. A really nice substitute for pumpkin and definitely of the season.

Too spicy.

Fizzy, sour smell. Sour-ish taste. Maple taste on the inhale, effect like that of mint, like tasting a maple sheen afterwards.
