Not feeling how chunky this is. It is like super pulp-a-riffic orange juice and it isn't orange juice, it is blueberry and thus a pulpy abomination.
Bottle at Home
I think this bottle was old, so this might not be fair. Lots of sediment. Slightly sour, yeasty cream ale. Not a bad flavor but the amount of stuff floating in it was hard to ignore.
Bottle at Odin Lounge
A very hop-forward, fresh-tasting amber. Citrus-pine, sweet-ish finish. Not too bitter. Went really well with brunch!
Sweet - fruity-sweet, not malt-sweet - IPA. Resin on the finish, but not too bitter. This was somewhat enjoyable.
Bottle at Xbeer One
Perfectly Fine Blonde Ale == PFBA. Cheap, even better.
Lacking any dry hopped flavor at all, but still a passable golden ale.
Bottle
Very light, tamed resinous hops bitterness.
A sweetish amber of the hoppy variety. Kind of one-note, with a lot of alcohol poking its way through the flavor. Significantly less enjoyable than the Red Rocket.
Sweet yeasty start and body. Complex non-resinous hops.
Bottle
Light sweet green sapling smell. Mild cereal body and wet hop finish.
Bottle
Thin but present cereal body, slightly acidic hopped finish.
Bottle
Interesting malt body with dry chocolate touches, acidic and tangy cherry finish. Quick end and leaves enough to appreciate, not a sweet beer which is great because otherwise the flavors would be masked.
Bottle
Warm cereal smell. Acidic bite to finish. Alcohol presence in middle taste.
Bottle
Light clean smell. Watery sweet front-middle tongue taste, almost empty body. Tight finishing hop, almost tart. Overall a clean beer. Good summer or light-dinner beer.
Bottle
Sour smell with some funky banana yeast notes. Light body taste and moderate to strong hopped presence.
Bottle
Light peachy smell. Good wheat taste with peach fruit qualities.
Bottle
Very light sweet-wheat taste. Light fragrant hops but mostly empty body. A nice crispness and a refreshing pale ale.
Bottle
Bridgeport Old Knucklehead (unknown release)
Tangy sweet bourbon front and smooth mellow cereal body. Mild tacky finish.
Bottle
Sweet oakey caramel flavor and finishes with a slight tack. Tastes like drinking a flan with character. Alcohol presence in finish with the high ABV.
Bottle
Smells like a fragrant pale ale and starts with a peppery floral hop bite. There's just the faintest hint of pilsner funk before a sharp alcohol flavor takes over. I had been hoping for some more emphasis on the lager characteristics; but it tastes more like a good fresh hop pale.
Pepperiness to the mild hopped finish. Somewhat tangy malty body. Yummy.
Like a pumpkin ale minus the pumpkin, if you put enough of the pie spice into the beer to form a filmy layer on top. It was jarring at first, like someone forgot to add sugar, but got better over time. By the end my throat was on fire but I was kind of into it.
Lots of spice in an otherwise good beer.
Draft at Fremont Oktoberfest
This drink definitely involved berries, but as for tartness, I wasn't feeling it. This was barely even a beer. If you told me this was going to be a dry lambic I would've been happy (it tastes like it), but I was expecting something else.
