I think this bottle was old, so this might not be fair. Lots of sediment. Slightly sour, yeasty cream ale. Not a bad flavor but the amount of stuff floating in it was hard to ignore.
A sweetish amber of the hoppy variety. Kind of one-note, with a lot of alcohol poking its way through the flavor. Significantly less enjoyable than the Red Rocket.
Interesting malt body with dry chocolate touches, acidic and tangy cherry finish. Quick end and leaves enough to appreciate, not a sweet beer which is great because otherwise the flavors would be masked.
Light clean smell. Watery sweet front-middle tongue taste, almost empty body. Tight finishing hop, almost tart. Overall a clean beer. Good summer or light-dinner beer.
Smells like a fragrant pale ale and starts with a peppery floral hop bite. There's just the faintest hint of pilsner funk before a sharp alcohol flavor takes over. I had been hoping for some more emphasis on the lager characteristics; but it tastes more like a good fresh hop pale.
Like a pumpkin ale minus the pumpkin, if you put enough of the pie spice into the beer to form a filmy layer on top. It was jarring at first, like someone forgot to add sugar, but got better over time. By the end my throat was on fire but I was kind of into it.
This drink definitely involved berries, but as for tartness, I wasn't feeling it. This was barely even a beer. If you told me this was going to be a dry lambic I would've been happy (it tastes like it), but I was expecting something else.
