Pretty much the same as my notes from last time. Still unusual to have such a light, clear beer in these categories (both bourbon-barreled and English strong). Sweet, pleasant, and yet very liquor-like.
My least favorite of the tasting - a thin stout, maybe the thinnest I've ever had, with a touch of coffee and sweetness. Maybe it was just overwhelmed by the other beers, but I almost felt like there was no body at all.
Light and smooth, with a semisweet. cereal malt flavor. It was like eating a bowl of milk & cornflakes with just a touch of barrel complexity. There wasn't much bourbon presence but the sweetness wouldn't have worked well with it, I think.
It is more of a novelty than a beer I would buy just to drink. The bourbon is pretty much the only flavor, but it wasn't unpleasant.
It was a tasting, and I had eight kinda strong drafts. I took "notes" with my phone, but they got pretty vague.
