Piney scen. Piney taste. Perhaps it should just go hang out in central New Jersey. More seriously, there is a hint of juice before the dryness takes over. Yeah, back to the Jersey Devil with you.

I don't typically like IPA so this was a pleasant surprise. Had all the flavors I like in IPA, very little of what I dislike.

For an IPA (a double even!) this is about as good as I could ask for. Rich in flavor without being syrupy or too resinous, flavorful and surprisingly not bitter. I certainly didn't taste 80 IBUs.

Doesn't start bitter, later sips take on more bitterness once the initial sweetness starts to fade but overall this is not a bitter beer. Works well with spicy food.
