From the brewer

The citrus punch of a big IPA, minus the one-dimensional hop sledgehammer. Seven select European and domestic malts round out the edges for a complex, copper-colored brew. Like its namesake ski lift, it’s an insider’s ride to fresh thrills.

Who's been drinking this

Lemon bubblegum, a bit of pine. Super smooth and almost milky-sweet. Is there lactose sugar involved here? The finish is slightly bitter but builds over time.
Floral hop opening with a mild, toasty cereal finish. Though named as a pale ale, this is basically a prototypical northwest red ale, and not of the IPA-in-disguise variety.
Thick yet effervescent, with an undertone of pine IPA. It's actually an appealing combination.
