From the brewer

La Résolution is a dark ale with spicy character inspired by a recipe our brewmaster Jerry Vietz created for his friends. At 10% alcohol, its spicy caramel aroma evolves on the palate into pleasant and complex notes of toffee with reminiscence of a tasty gingerbread. The perfect balance between spicy, caramel and roasted malt flavours is complemented by a nice roundness and persistent finish.

Dark, kind of like fake candy. It's not bad, but doesn't have the best flavor profile.

A great and complex mix of flavors that keep evolving as your mouth gets used to some of them. Plum, citrus, christmas spices, mild yeast tang and bitterness. Very faint hint of boozyness as well.

Scent of plum and candi sugar. Really delicious holiday flavors in this beer, with a lot of gingerbread, caramel, plum, clove, maybe some nutmeg. The finish almost wraps around to toasted coconut. It's been a while since I had it, but my memory wants to put this on a shelf with St. Bernardus Christmas Ale.
