From the brewer

Tavern Hall Ale is inspired by the German Kolsch ale style. Imported pilsner malt provides the light color and malt flavor. The hops in this ale are of European origin and help provide a smooth and delicate hop profile. Tavern Hall Ale is well-balanced, clean, crisp and prefect for almost any palate. This beer is featured at the newly opened Tavern Hall in Bellevue Square and will be on tap year round at that location. This beer will be on tap periodically during the year in the Black Raven taproom.

Who's been drinking this

Slightly fruitier than I remembered, I think. A bit prickly on the hops, which brings to mind the Hochzeit for me.
Clean, fresh and crisp. Light resinous hops flavors.
Crisp, clean bright acidity. Interesting yeastiness.
Draft
Smells like toast. Tasty!
Bottle
Starts with a bit of tangy, bready yeast before settling into a toasted malt body that reminded me a lot of the Hochtoberfest in a paler outfit. The finish is sharply bitter, which was a minus (I already had a headache going in), but overall, quite good.
