Buddy, pal, mate, brother (or sister) from another mother, compadre…Sidekick. All of these are ways to describe someone or something that is always at your side. Sidekick extra pale ale is one of those things. This golden colored ale is loaded with juicy citrus and passion fruit hop aroma yet balanced with malty and hop character. A true companion.

Based on what I wrote earlier, this can was a lot better than when I had it on tap. Fresh, effervescent citrus-hop flavor. The finish was a bit unexpected, juice-like. but not bitter at all.
A very standard, drinkable pale ale with a nice floral nose but a building, bitter finish.
Disappointing after having what seemed like a 4.5 to 5 taste of this at the Tap House.
