Whiskey sweet, some vanilla. A hint that's almost like a sour. It's not that bad given my aversion to whiskey and the like.

Good scotch ale with a little barrel plus. Exactly as advertised.

Still delicious, and holds its own against heavily seasoned grilled meats.

I want to give this a 6 as I would go out of my way to buy this it's that good. Pleasant aftertaste.

Third taste and still yummy. Wonderful, sweet finish after initial hit of wood.
