They insisted this was unfiltered, although it was crystal clear. They had both varieties so I'll have to try them side by side at some point, if I can. Rich, cereal-uric pilsner flavor, no sweetness, and a bracingly bitter finish. May be the top Czech pilsner I've had so far.

Crisper and tastier than American macrobrew crap, but par for the course with European macrobrews.

Crisp, grassy pilsner. I didn't have the cleanest of palates, but it sure seemed pleasant. Would love to try under better circumstances.

Sadly, this bottle was clearly skunked. Perhaps it's best just to have Pilsner Urquell in its native country.

This is more understated than the Budweiser Budvar I had, but also more consistent down to the bottom of the glass.

This seems a fairly normal wheat beer. It open, floral notes. There might be a bit of citrus zest in the scent.
