From the brewer

Three Sundays in a week you say! How can this at all be possible? Well in the old days of maritime travel, one could accomplish this seemingly impossible scenario. Our Three Sundays is less of a brain teaser and more of a palate pleaser. This new annual release is brewed in the style of a Belgian Tripel and then aged on French and American oak.

Who's been drinking this

2016 release
Sweet light malt body. Somewhat acidic finish. Pretty alcoholic after burn.
2015 release
Fruity, somewhat bitter, good yeast funkyness. Some of that tripel honey like sweetness.
unknown release
I wanted to like this but didn't quite connect. The tripel character borders a bit on the syrupy side, and the transition to wood is more disconnected than I'd like. It took me quite a while to finish this one.
