Solid cereal taste, light but full, like a graham cracker. Light hop finish.

Presents a sweet cereal smell with hop hints. It opens with a sweet cereal flavor and slowly fades into mild hop bitterness and resinous hop flavors. Really liked this one, but the bitterness builds up a little bit too much.

Malty and caramel, and very much the 25% barleywine that it claims. A very American hop florality prevents it from tasting super-English, nor did it have the funky dankness of an English real ale, but still, this was an interesting and very enjoyable cask.
