From the brewer

Pours deep copper with ghostly white head. Intense pumpkin, sugar and spice on the nose with a nice bready and malty backdrop to tame all those autumn spices into a remarkably smooth, balanced and delectable fall treat.

Who's been drinking this

It's deifnitely spice-heavy, so if that's not what you like about pumpkin beers you might want to avoid. But it does seem balanced by the overall strength of this beer for me. This might appeal more if you're in the mood for a spiced liquor rather than a beer though.

Cinnamon and apple smell, very fall. Light, fizzy, clean body and not too sweet.
Bottle
I might have changed my mind on pumpkin beers after this one. It's not sweet but has enough sweet pumpkin to give it character but remains generally dry and bubbly.
Bottle
Very smooth, full bodied, a nice spiced flavor

A decent strong pumpkin ale, with a bit too much of spice to really have a chance to shine.
Pleasant pumpkin and spice taste.
