From the brewer

Darkruby colored wheat doppelbock with a creamy fine head. Strong notes of ripe bananas, raisins and plums meet liquorice and roasty aromes. Full-bodied and warming, with a well-balanced and smooth finish. Oldest wheat doppelbock of Bavaria.

Who's been drinking this

Lots of banana, as I got further into the bottle I was getting caramel towards the finish. Finish is sweet.
Bottle at Home
Superbly well-put-together beer; definite banana and clove and molasses, but with a thin, dry texture that prevents it from being cloying. Much less boozy-flavored than other doppelbocks. Yum!
