From the brewer

Sour in the Rye is an American wild ale. A challenging beer to brew due to the substantial amount of rye malt, but you’ll be glad we took the time. The character of the rye asserts itself with clove and pepper in the aroma and flavor, and contributes a full body not generally found in sour beers. Pleasantly sour with notes of tart cherry, rustic earth and vanilla from barrel aging.

Good, though it does the opposite of growing on me.

Very powerfull sourness presenting marked fruit flavors. Strong wild yeasts tang. Still not a fan of sour, but its nice to try one from time to time.

All the sours I've tried from The Bruery share a similar yeast profile, and this is no exception. Same smooth-entry, finishing tart bite as the Tart of Darkness, but without the plum sugar / malt finish. Not sure I detected what the rye brought, either.
