From the brewer

The biggest of stouts, Russian Imperials were born out of the cold north and the Russian court’s desire for rich, dark brews. Ours is a deep, multilayered one. Aged in brandy barrels for six months on cherries, vanilla and cacao nibs, a smooth body carries immense flavors of coffee, chocolate, cherries and barrel-aged complexity.

My previous description fits. Really, really good.
Draft

Smells of booze and sour vanilla, but the flavor is perfectly balanced chocolate and brandy and stout, smooth and thick.

Hint of banana. Smooth with no rough edges and a fine finish.
