Another Polar Vortex is on its way, this time in a bottle. A cold weather friendly Dunkel Lager that has a medium light body and hints of chocolate and caramel. Traditional German hops lend themselves to a crisp finish. You can even steal this pattern for your next knitting project…life’s a stitch, knit it!

This has the roasted taste I associate with the dunkel type, maybe slightly burnt tree nut? Not bad. Slight bitterness but filled out a bit with a malt thickness.
