Smell started slightly burned wood but then the peat came out. Not getting much peat on the taste, more mellow caramel.

Very unusual, woody & smoky, utterly transformed Embrasse, with whisky very much in evidence. Lots of sediment, low carbon. Like Fat Woody's crazy uncle.

The 2011 oak aged version was excellent also. Only aged oak beer that had clear whiskey finish. It was like drinking Ardbeg 10.
