The smell is hoppy but almost a little candy-like. The flavor is good, mellow, barely bitter. The green tea is not obvious, except maybe as part of that smoothness.

Maltier than other bourbon barrel stouts, which took a little getting used to. Almost creamy. But quite good.

I'm hoping this is the next trend. A really nice, malty, bourbony but not-too-sweet flavor. A touch of salt, maybe, making for a nice balance in a salted caramel kind of way. There was a weird bitterness at the end which knocked it down slightly for me.

Tasty. Very tasty.
