A somewhat watery, slow to appear but sharp bitterness. Not particularly roasty. In fact it's very slow to even taste like a stout. I will admit that I get different things out of each sip. For instance, this last one had an odd sweet note. Very strange. I don't think in a good way.
Draft
Bitter and brackish on a watery base. Eventually a little burnt coffee comes through. I say bleh.
Draft
Fresh, but watery scent. Tastes barrel aged, with that candy sweetness that I associate with it. It's not so perfectly whiskey flavored that I immediately choke, but it's enough that I'm not super pleased with it. It's like any hint of whitbier has been replaced worth the barrel aged character.
Draft
Spicy with a lemony/orangey taste. No bitterness of course. Fine, mass market pablum.
Draft
The hop juice comes across in the scen. Not overly bitter, though the bitterness is certainly there. It's really not too bad.
Draft
Effervescent, yet with a solid bitterness that lasts well after the sip. I'm not really sure how to characterize this.
Draft
Has a sweet-spicy scent like some sort of berry. A good mix of fruit and bitterness. It would be good, except that it tastes a little fake, like the flavoring is artificial, like something that would be added to a medicine. I don't know what it is, but it certainly drops my rating.
