Smells start a little funky but that transitions to malty cereals but with a sort of pepperoni effect. Clean taste with some fruit sweetness.

Somewhat acrid, funky smell turns into a somewhat acrid, bitter lager -- there's some really nice flavors here but they're off-balance, muted. In the end the bitterness kind of dominates the flavor. It does get better as you have more, though.
