Too much carbonation. The flavors come out after it warms up a bit.

Out of the bottle it shoots up with a huge head that goes down bitter. If you let it warm up and the head recede it's got a really nice mix of toasted caramel and deceptively huge hops with a touch of whisky barrel that is subtle but helps smooth it out.

Pour very slowly and carefully, this will foam like mad otherwise. Clean finish but middle like coke, caramel. Improves when it gets warmer, taste and smell.
