2021 Pro-Am Gold Medal at Washington Beer Awards. Guess and check is our crack at an experimental lager with a few of our homebrewing friends. Brewed with a light Pilsner base and fermented cool, we added Riesling juice to the primary. While we expected big white grape and tropical notes, sometimes experiments provide some unexpected results! Expect a very light body with a firm bitterness. Light passionfruit and grape aromas slowly emerge from the glass while Nelson Sauvin hops provide a dank finish.

Quite firmly in the IPL category, but I think I may be tasting the hops more because a lager isn't going to stand up so well after a strong barrel-aged stout.
