From the brewer

Most likely at some point in your life you have peeled out and burned rubber. Maybe at 17 in your dad's car or perhaps last week in your SUV, either way if smokin' the tires brought a slight smile to your face, this beer is for you. If you turned around and went back to look at the tire marks…….try the Oatmeal Stout. Don't let the name and dark color scare you: this is a light, drinkable medium-bodied beer with hints of toasted almond, chocolate and coffee followed by very little bitterness. We use a small amount of German Carafa malt, a dark roasted de-husked grain, which helps give this beer its wonderful color and flavor. Don't be afraid to try a burnout…. all the cool kids are doing it.

Who's been drinking this

Kind of a watery cola opening, pretty thin mouthfeel. Finishes pretty strong in both bitterness and an almost smoky roast.
Easy-drinking dark ale; a good roastiness giving way to notes of dark chocolate. Thin body.
