Saké Rice Lager was bound to happen sooner or later for us. First there was Canada Gold, then Mexico Gold, then our good friend at Chainline Brewing, Head Brewer Aaron Blonden joked; "When's the Japanese lager coming"? A collaboration was born! Our take sees the use of pearled white saké rice and a restrained use of Czech Saaz hops leading to a delicate, floral and dry craft take on one of our favorite lager styles reminiscent of the soft notes found in traditional saké!

Surprisingly flavorful, with a slight sake-like tang on top of a rich lager flavor. I have a whole can of this stuff at home so I'll be giving it a deeper look soon.
