This year’s release of B-Bomb is aged in 12-year-old American Oak bourbon barrels and is a blend of 9, 12, and 24-month old barrel strength Winter Ale. This special edition adds toasted coconut to complement the bourbon, oak, cacao, and leather notes achieved from B-Bomb’s extended barrel aging and barrel blending. Each barrel contributes a different note, and combining each barrel to create a coherent tone is a distinct art and true pleasure. Please do enjoy this unique barrel-aged ale today but know that Coconut Edition B-Bomb will age gracefully for years to come.

2017 release
Still great, buttery, smooth, rich. Bourbon has become very-well integrated. Might have been a little too strong for lunchtime, but I'll never turn this down if it's available.
2017 release
Noticeably smoothed out after a year of aging, this was more of a creamy-sweet-but-not-at-all-cloying coconut candy beer. If you’re going to do a coconut beer, there is a way to do it dark, and a way to do it sweet. This is the apotheosis of the latter.
2018 release
A little sad that they didn’t have this on nitro anymore, but this was remarkable nonetheless. Boozy, bourbony, sweet and delicious. Tiny bit raw around the edges from being young.
