From the brewer

Black House is an oatmeal coffee stout bursting with coffee aroma and flavor. Modern Times is one of the only breweries in the world to roast our own coffee, which allows us to be exceptionally picky about which coffees we use and how we roast them. The result is an abundantly flavorful beer that's incredibly complex and aromatic, with loads of roast character and a chocolate-covered espresso bean finish. Black House is also available on Nitro. So creamy.

Who's been drinking this

Coffee is nicely integrated, and not harsh or overpowering. Some comments from drinkers here that it's not a lot of flavor for a stout, and that's true, but still a nice, easy drink.
Bottle at Home
It gets a little ding because it's Nitro, and I think that takes away from the flavor balance. Sweet and light with mild coffee notes. This is still awfully pleasant to drink. It had the advantage of tempering the stronger notes of the other beers in the flight too.
Less complex than the City of the Dead, but manages to be super well balanced and sweet without overdoing it. Light roast, medium thick, subtle coconut and mocha notes. Really very tasty - this brewery definitely knows how to do stouts right.
