From the brewer

The Hirter Morchl is not just a unique brand – its production method also differs from that of other dark beers. The beer’s seductive color is due to the dark brewing malt, hops and caramel malt, while its smooth taste comes from the soft mountain spring water used in the brewing process. Left to mature in a prolonged aging process, it’s GMO-free, non-pasteurized and completely natural. Beer lovers will appreciate its dry maltiness on the palate and pleasantly rounded, faintly bitter finish.

Who's been drinking this

Starts a bit like a typical dunkel lager, but very quickly goes weirdly metallic/medicinal, somewhere between ginseng and ginger. Not awful, but It was definitely a bit off-putting.
Dark, sweet, full bodied. Actually really good .
