The Event Horizon- an annual release. We barrel age an imperial stout in oak bourbon barrels, from several bourbon varieties, and blend the results. Dark and rich with bourbon flavors- once this beer grabs you you'll never escape. Winner of a World Beer Cup (R) 2012 bronze award in the Wood- and Barrel-Aged Strong Stout category! Released each year in the late fall-early winter.

2013 release
Very smooth. Nice dark fruit flavors, molasses, chocolate flavors. Quite sweet maybe a little bit too much. Great in small quantities.

Thick and amazingly smooth. You can smell the bourbon from a mile away, and you'd think it would be too boozy. But this is so amazingly delicious, you guys. Honey sweet, but not cloying, milky and rich. Like a super-mellow version of Berserker, if that helps the picture.
