Our Diamond Tail Northwest Imperial Wit is a strong wheat beer packed with hops. It is intentionally hazy from the wheat proteins, not yeast. It boasts a broad but thought out selection of hops including the American varietal Calypso, Japanese bred Sorachi Ace and German favorites Opal, Hersbrucker and Perle. Look for spicy, pithy, floral, and fruity notes from the hops as well as a strong phenol character from the Belgian yeast. Don’t you love how we can just stick Northwest in front of something to say ‘this has hops’?

Hoppy, syrupy, cloying. Verged a bit on medicinal in flavor. Really had a hard time with this.
Heavy on the stomach, this delightful beer hits all the right notes, yet finishes with slight notes of a saison. Great beer.
