From the brewer

This red session IPA is part of our rotating SIPA series. The Redfeather SIPA is brewed in the session IPA style. This beer presents the hop bitterness and flavor of a red IPA but in a more refreshing, lower alcohol version. Additional crystal malts contribute the red hue and malt backbone to layer the hops onto. Available during the spring/summer seasons each year.

unknown release
Bitter and woody; lightly fruity, thin.
2015 release
Nice session IPA. Citrus notes on the front but finishes with a nice hop finish. Delightful.
Bottle
2015 release
Crisp but very resinous hops flavors. Not so sessionable.
Prototype release
Felt very light overall, but shows a pretty strong carbonation. Presents very mild resinous hop flavors and ends with a moderatly strong bitterness.
Prototype release
Opens with a bit of pine and a bit of fruit, a really fragrant typical IPA opening. Like lots of other Black Raven beers, though, this has a solid cereal backbone, almost pretzely. Bitter finish.
