Signal De Botrange is made is made in the tradition of the farmhouse beers of the Wallonia region of Belgium. Eclectic, funky and original, this is the original beer in our Double Black Series of seasonal barrel-aged beers. The Signal de Botrange is the highest tower on the highest point in Belgium and we hop our Signal de Botrange will help elevate your perception of beer, much like the beers of Belgium did for us.

I'm writing notes several days late on this one, so there are details I can't remember. I do remember this being a somewhat spice-forward, standard saison, and I definitely remember being quite disappointed that I didn't detect any wine-like yeast or grape funk in the ale, nor did I sense wood.
