Brewed with a Belgian yeast strain, it has the character of a Belgian Trippel with the drinkability and through-the- roof hoppiness of a Northwest IPA.

Better than the typical IPA but not really my style. It is pretty complex for what it's worth, just in a way that isn't as compelling to me.
Strong Belgian spice but balanced and not too dry. Subtly piney, which I think translates into the smoky finish. Slight bitterness.
