From the brewer

Celebrate thirty years of Hale’s Ales with this doubly good pale ale. This malt-forward pale is made from two-row, crystal, Vienna, wheat and aromatic malts, as well as a dose of oats. Bittered with Apollo, the finishing and flavoring hops include Centennial, Cascade, Chinook and Citra. Open-fermented and dry-hopped for that special Hale’s edge.

Who's been drinking this

Sweet, hoppy-malty amber with a pithy finish and a wallop of booze. Didn't make me feel particularly celebratory. Happy Anniversary, Hale's.
Can at Home
Pretty solid double Pale (to be fair... the first I've had). A good execution of doubling down on the malty character sometimes found in pales - not really roasty but a slight hint of that, some sweetness on the palate from the malts rounded out nicely with a bit of bitterness on the finish
