From the brewer

With a little tip of our hat to our scientific neighbors we have created the innovative Atom Smasher limited run Artisan Beer. A hefty, full bodied lager reminiscent of Marzen beers from days gone by. However, this beer is aged in our oak foudres to add a complexity unmatched by the imported versions of Oktoberfest beers today.

Who's been drinking this

Like I've said before. Caramel, barrel, bit of aged bitterness.
Can at Mom's
Honestly this isn't doing it for me. Maybe I don't really like Oktoberfest beers. Luckily for them, the marginal cost of the next 5 is in fact free . . .
Bottle at Home
This is kind of catching me in the back of the throat with some barrel aged caramel flavor. I'm not liking it.
Bottle at Home
The scent is just beer. Not particularly bitter, full bodied with a hint of caramel back on the tongue without actually being sweet. It's a solid beer to go with a good meal.
