Get ready for your day to shine a little brighter with a new batch of Luminous 05. The fifth chapter of Luminous is a sour IPA at its core, but we also enhance every iteration of Luminous with different fruits and flavors like vanilla. We soften the body with some milk sugar in the Luminous line and ferment with fruit, in this case passionfruit. We use the notoriously citrus-forward hops Motueka and Citra in the dry hop to keep the beer juicy and enhance the passionfruit. Dragon Fruit is used post fermentation for another layer of flavor and color. Luminous 05 is finished with flavors of vanilla and coconut to contrast the puckering passionfruit. This is a truly enlightening IPA!

Quite tart, pithy… tastes like a ruby red grapefruit sour with some sweet overtones… I’d guess a milkshake sour. (Edit: brewer says milkshake, but dragon/passion fruit… still, I stand by this making me think of grapefruit)
