A grassy, surprisingly bitter lager that mellows into a kind of adjunct sweetness. It's very clean. I think I was expecting something a lot lighter, but this was tasty.
Draft

Weirdly candy-like in its fruitiness? It reminds me a bit of those soft-center hard strawberry candies in the white wrappers. Somewhat insipid finish. I might be more in the mood for this except this doesn't feel intentional? (Note: this was absolutely marked as Hans Gruber on the tap but maybe this was actually the Strawberry Golden Ale?)
Draft

Mildly sour up-front with a floral candy sweetness coming in later. It's not syrupy or thick, more like sucking on a sour hard candy over time.
Draft

Pine-resin, quite dank. Bitter backend, although to its credit it is clean. There’s only so much I can enjoy a beer that tastes like sucking on sap though.
Draft

“This Landbier Hell is inspired by the country lagers of upper Franconia, Germany. Deep malt character highlighted by German heirloom malt and a bright, firm bitterness delivered by the highest quality Spalter hops.” Collaboration with Volks Bräu
Unexpected flavors for a lager, dry, bready, hints of spice. Definitely tastes rustic although it’s more drying than drinkable IMO.
Bottle

Ultra-thin mouthfeel and translucent, brown. This doesn’t scream “stout” although it is fairly roasty. Tastes like coconut candy without much toasted character… wish this had more body. This is like a soda.
Draft

Thin mouthfeel, very light caramel, an overtone of bitter spice (anise?). Coffee is light, like a cold brew.
Draft

In context, this was a very weird followup to the other beers. The increased fruity hop character was jarring. Lots of caramel. Definitely prickly.
Draft

Very nicely balanced, roasty stout. There's a vegetal/earthy coffee base here with a sweet cream finish. I don't know if you can taste purple, but aside from that (this just looks like a stout) it did make me think of an ube latte for sure.
Draft

Sweet, tart, jammy, with a butter cookie-like aftertaste. Very much tastes like the filling of a blueberry pastry.
Draft

Caramel, lightly roasted. Coffee. Carbonation's a bit spiky, but this is really pleasant to drink with a very dry finish.
Draft

Light and fragrant. There's the typical rice sweetness, but also a little more of a bitter edge than I was expecting for the style.
Draft

Lumberbeard Disco Weapon (2024)
Bright up front, citron, pine, without that sweet lemon cleaner sheen. Finishes closer to the Kolsch than I was expecting: cereal, yeast. Very clean though.
Draft

Zoiglhaus Fresh Hop Kölsch (2024)
Yeasty, lightly estery Kolsch, finishes with cereal funk. Just one step removed from an American hefe. There's not a traditional fresh hop sheen on this, but it does seem to give a clean, bright crest to the flavor wave.
